Latoya's 30th Red Carpet Birthday

A few weeks ago I was commisioned to shoot the birthday party of Latoya gliding into the 30s club with grace and style. She invited her closest friends to celebrate with her and it was a beautiful event with everyone dressed to the nines.

My favourite parts of the evening were definitely the VIP red carpet laid out for all of her guests, the exquisitely created birthday cake that mimicked paparazzi capturing a grand concert at a theatre hall and Latoya's reaction when she opened up her present which will fulfil her dream of travelling to a beautiful European destination!!

Rosalind's 80th Birthday / Hilton Hotel Milton Keynes

I was recently asked to cover an extremely special 80th Birthday Party celebrating another year in the life of the lovely Rosalind. I must admit, it is always an absolute joy to cover very special events such as these and this one was no exception. It was my first time shooting as a Hilton Hotel photographer, and the venue was stunning, with beautiful scenery and great lighting inside the hotel as well. 

Rosalind chose to have only her nearest and dearest at this celebration and it was great to see how much she lit up when she arrived to see friends and family who had travelled from far and wide to celebrate her birthday with her. The speeches were wonderful as usual, with guests speaking of her incredible personality and telling stories of her kindness, strength and loving nature. When it came to the time where her daughters had to provide their speeches, there were a few teary eyes, all in the spirit of happiness and joy, love and sheer admiration.

Lauren & Jamie / Holy Family Catholic Church

A few weekends ago I was commisioned as as second shooter for the wedding of the lovely Lauren and Jamie in Slough alongside fellow wedding photographer and friend Anique Bazil. I have never been a wedding photographer at Holy Family Catholic Church and I was blown away by how beautiful this venue was. It was the perfect backdrop to celebrate the union of this couple. The weather turned out to be very sunny despite a few threats of rain at the beginning of the day. 

Lauren has had a lifetime love of horses and so it was great to see her arrive at the venue by Horse and carriage before saying I do to the love of her life! What I really loved about this wedding was the warmth of the day, the non stop laughter and fooling around that took place as well as the hilarious stories about the groom told by the infamous best man!
